About the Producer
Situated in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Champagne Pertois-Moriset has always been an independent family business of grower producers.
The House’s history began through the marriage of Yves Pertois and Janine Moriset, the son and daughter of two ancient winemaking families in the Côte de Blancs. In 1951 the couple created create the brand Pertois-Moriset, which continued to develop as their son Dominique and his wife Florence joined the House.
Today the house is managed by their granddaughter Cécile and her husband Vincent. Their vineyards measure approximately 20 hectares in two separate parts. A little over 13 hectares in Côte de Blancs consisting of Grand Cru chardonnay and the rest in Côte Sézanne which is made up of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay.
At Dawe Wines our aim is to showcase champagne makers like the Moriset family and offer their terroir driven champagnes to the UK where they are difficult to find. Click here to buy them online with free delivery on orders over £150.*
